Virginia Science Olympiad
-- The Science Olympiad is an international nonprofit organization devoted to improving the
quality of science education, increasing student interest in science and providing recognition
for outstanding achievement in science education by both students and teachers. These goals are
accomplished through classroom activities, research, training workshops and the encouragement of
intramural, district, regional, state and national tournaments.
Virginia Science Resource Network (VSRN)
--The Virginia Science Resource Network (VSRN) is a gateway to science education
resources throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. The network is a service of the Virginia
Academy of Science and the Science Museum of Virginia in cooperation with the Virginia
Department of Education.
